At the edge.

What are museums for? How committed are they to the commons? Do they value members of their community? What is the meaning of culture? Is there a social dimension of entertainment? Is an exhibition a political choice? How can museums contextualize their concepts? Is a sustainable manifesto improving the community resilience? Is wokeism the answer to post-colonialism? How biased is my belief?  If an exhibition is just a show, who am I?

“At the edge” displays a series of 3 triptychs illustrating the difficulty for museums to reimagine their role confronting the issue of marketing-minded exhibitions while at the same time addressing the meaning of community resilience. Each triptych is printed on digital paper of 29,7 x 42 cm (11,7 x 16 ½ in) including argentic parts ever darkening in time.

    At the edge n°1 (100 x 42 cm / 39,4 x 16 ½ in). Shooting places: Paris (France) & New York (USA)
