There is a risk with the «smart city» development to underestimate the growing complexity of cities which can even be exacerbated by our digital environment. How to make sure that urban cartographies are representative when low income citizens are left aside? In this work a couple watches Manhattan in an attitude encompassing cautiousness and exclusion. At D0, a Hudson data flow river illuminates the island while raising the question of a supposed shared benefit. At D+, the data flow becomes crushing, melting with the center of Manhattan; nothing changes for the watching couple. More to read here.
